‘Wake Up, You’re Stuck’ is an emotional new single from London-based Eden Rain. Musically, she keeps things relatively simple, allowing her dreamy electronic textures to support the poetic lyricism that sits above. She cites Kae Tempest as a major influence on her work, with the likes of Sufjan Stevens and Girl In Red shining through. “For me, this song is the feeling of being eaten alive from the inside out,” she says. “To me the song feels like a fight or flight situation: do I stay being eaten alive or attempt to save myself from all the things I’m running from?”.
